# Connect a Windows PC

Another Windows 10 or 11 PC can project to AeroCast with **Win + K**.

## Install the Wireless Display feature

Android and Windows senders reach AeroCast through Windows' own Miracast receiver, which is an optional Windows feature called **Wireless Display**.

- AeroCast offers to install it when it starts and the feature is missing. Choosing **Install** shows one Windows permission prompt, then downloads the feature from Windows Update. This can take a few minutes.
- You can also install it yourself: **Settings, System, Optional features, Add a feature, Wireless Display**.

If the download seems stuck, restart the PC and try again, or check that Windows Update works.

## Allow projecting to this PC

In Windows **Settings, System, Projecting to this PC**, set the first option to **Available everywhere** (or **Available everywhere on secure networks**).

## Project from the other PC

1. Press **Win + K** on the sending PC.
2. Choose the entry ending in **(AeroCast)**.
3. Approve the request on the receiving PC if AeroCast is set to ask.

Both PCs need Wi-Fi turned on. Miracast does not work over a wired-only connection.
